Low testosteroneand hormone health.
Our core service, and where most men start. Two blood tests, a doctor who reads them with you, and a plan only if it is clinically right for you.
It might not just be getting older.

The most common reasons men start with our core service. They can have many causes, which is why we test first.
What we look at
What your bloods can tell us.
The typical panel for low testosterone and hormone health. Your doctor decides the final panel from your age, history and symptoms.
- Testosterone and free testosteroneYour total level, and the share your body can actually use.
- SHBGThe carrier protein that decides how much testosterone is free to use.
- OestradiolRead alongside testosterone to see the whole hormone balance.
- LH and FSHSignals from the brain that show where a hormone change might start.
- Thyroid (TSH)Your thyroid sets your pace. A common, checkable cause of feeling flat.
- Full blood countRed and white cells, including haematocrit, a key safety marker.
- Where relevantPSAWhere relevantA prostate marker, checked where relevant for your age and history.
- Liver functionA baseline health check, repeated at ongoing reviews.
- LipidsCholesterol and triglycerides: part of your heart health picture.
- HbA1cYour average blood sugar over roughly the last three months.
- Vitamin DEasy to run low on, especially if you work indoors.
- Iron studiesToo little, or too much, iron can both leave you tired.
Your doctor decides the panel. These are typical markers, not a fixed list. Yours may include more or fewer, and reference ranges come from our Australian pathology partners.
How it works
Bloods first. Then a doctor. Then a plan.

What your plan can include
Care, not a product.
Your doctor builds your plan from your bloods. It may be as simple as a few changes, or it may include medical treatment. It is always your call, with the facts in front of you.
Doctor-led
A plan built on your numbers.
Every option is decided by an AHPRA-registered doctor, from your bloods and your history. Never by an algorithm.
Doctor review
Your results, explained by an AHPRA-registered doctor by phone, with time for your questions.
A personalised plan
Built from your results and your goal. Not a template, and not a sales pitch.
Sleep, training and nutrition
Practical changes to the everyday basics, where that is what your results point to.
Treatment, only if it's right
If your doctor decides treatment is clinically appropriate, your eScript goes to your phone. If your results are in range, you will not be prescribed treatment.
Repeat bloods and reviews
Regular check-ins against your numbers, so your plan changes when they do.
Your portal and care team
Every result in your Apex TRT portal, and your care team a message away.

What does this service cover?
Checking for low testosterone and other hormone changes in men, and treating them where it is clinically appropriate. Two blood tests, a doctor consultation to go through them with you, and a plan if one is right for you, then regular reviews and repeat bloods.
What if my levels are in range?
You will not be prescribed treatment. Your doctor explains what your results show and what else might explain how you feel, such as sleep, stress or thyroid function, and whether it is worth following up with your GP.
Why do most men start here?
Energy, drive, mood and strength are the things men tend to notice first, and they are worth checking against your hormone levels alongside your general health markers. It gives your doctor a broad first picture, even if another service turns out to be the better fit.
Can my GP stay involved?
Yes. With your consent, we can share your results and your plan with your GP.
