Typical markers for weight management. Your doctor decides the final panel from your history, your health and your goals. - **HbA1c**Your average blood sugar over roughly the last three months. - **Fasting glucose**Your blood sugar at the time of the test, read with your HbA1c. - **Lipids**Cholesterol and triglycerides: part of your heart health picture. - **Liver function**A baseline health check, repeated at ongoing reviews. - **Kidney function**A baseline check of how well your kidneys are filtering, repeated at reviews. - **Thyroid (TSH)**Your thyroid sets your pace. A common, checkable cause of feeling flat. - **Testosterone and free testosterone**Your total level, and the share your body can actually use. - **SHBG**The carrier protein that decides how much testosterone is free to use. - **Full blood count**Red and white cells, including haematocrit, a key safety marker. - **Vitamin D**Easy to run low on, especially if you work indoors. **Your doctor decides the panel.** These are typical markers, not a fixed list.
