Typical markers for sexual health. Your doctor decides the final panel from your age, history and symptoms. - **Testosterone and free testosterone**Your total level, and the share your body can actually use. - **SHBG**The carrier protein that decides how much testosterone is free to use. - **Oestradiol**Read alongside testosterone to see the whole hormone balance. - **LH and FSH**Signals from the brain that show where a hormone change might start. - Where relevant**Prolactin*Where relevant***A hormone that, when raised, can affect drive. - **HbA1c**Your average blood sugar over roughly the last three months. - **Lipids**Cholesterol and triglycerides: part of your heart health picture. - **Thyroid (TSH)**Your thyroid sets your pace. Your consultation is one on one with your doctor, by phone, and your results sit in your secure portal. Do I have to talk about it straight away? Only what you are comfortable with. The questionnaire lets you say it privately first, so your doctor already knows before you speak. Could it be something else? It can. Drive and performance can be affected by sleep, stress, relationships, blood sugar and heart health, among other things. That is why we look broadly, and your doctor may suggest seeing your GP too. Will I be prescribed something? Only if your doctor decides treatment is clinically appropriate for you.
