FAQ
Good questions. Straight answers.
Eligibility, bloods, pricing and safety, answered plainly.
How do I get started?
Click start now and complete a short questionnaire from your phone. We then arrange your two blood tests at a collection centre near you. When your results are back, you go through them with an AHPRA-registered doctor by phone. If treatment is right for you, your eScript goes straight to your phone and you can fill it at any pharmacy in Australia.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. We arrange your pathology referral and your doctor consults with you by telehealth.
Do I need a blood test before seeing a doctor?
Yes. Blood tests help your doctor check your testosterone levels and other important health markers to determine whether treatment is right for you.
You don't need blood tests to complete the questionnaire or book a free discovery call.
Why two blood tests?
Levels change day to day. A full panel and a follow-up panel give your doctor a reliable picture before anything is recommended.
What if my levels come back normal?
If your results show that treatment isn't right for you, we won't prescribe. We'll explain your results and offer a follow-up with our nursing team to discuss other services that may be suitable for you.
Will I speak with a real doctor?
Yes. All doctor consultations are conducted by AHPRA-registered Australian doctors via telehealth.
Is treatment long term?
If you are diagnosed with clinically low testosterone (hypogonadism), your body isn't producing enough on its own, and in most cases that doesn't fix itself. Ongoing treatment is generally needed to maintain healthy levels and manage symptoms, and your doctor reviews it with you as you go.
Can I stop at any time?
Speak to your doctor first before any change to your plan, to ensure care is safely managed.
I'm with another clinic. Can I switch?
Yes. Share your current protocol and your most recent bloods, and one of our doctors reviews them before your first consultation.
Can I claim any of this on Medicare?
What are the side effects?
