The typical panel for low testosterone and hormone health. Your doctor decides the final panel from your age, history and symptoms. - **Testosterone and free testosterone**Your total level, and the share your body can actually use. - **SHBG**The carrier protein that decides how much testosterone is free to use. - **Oestradiol**Read alongside testosterone to see the whole hormone balance. - **LH and FSH**Signals from the brain that show where a hormone change might start. - **Thyroid (TSH)**Your thyroid sets your pace. A common, checkable cause of feeling flat. - **Full blood count**Red and white cells, including haematocrit, a key safety marker. - Where relevant**PSA*Where relevant***A prostate marker, checked where relevant for your age and history. - **Liver function**A baseline health check, repeated at ongoing reviews. - **Lipids**Cholesterol and triglycerides: part of your heart health picture. - **HbA1c**Your average blood sugar over roughly the last three months. - **Vitamin D**Easy to run low on, especially if you work indoors. - **Iron studies**Too little, or too much, iron can both leave you tired. **Your doctor decides the panel.** These are typical markers, not a fixed list. Checking for low testosterone and other hormone changes in men, and treating them where it is clinically appropriate. Two blood tests, a doctor consultation to go through them with you, and a plan if one is right for you, then regular reviews and repeat bloods. What if my levels are in range? You will not be prescribed treatment. Your doctor explains what your results show and what else might explain how you feel, such as sleep, stress or thyroid function, and whether it is worth following up with your GP.
